What are you going to do to it? Are you splitting between ta housing and transmission or engine/clutch housing or both(to replace ta)? I would drain all oil from the rear end if it hasn't already drained from ta section. You will want to use Hy tran or equivelent in rear end after overhaul. I beleive there is a bolt between the torque tube/ta housing and the rear end that you have to get from the bottom through the cover for the seasonal disconnect. You need to have a manuel to do the job and it really helps to have a parts book also. I always cap off everything I disconnect so that you don't get dirt or bugs in some line. You don't have to drain radiator but if you think the antifreeze is old it may pay off. The torque tube is heavy as are both ends of the tractor when split.
