you probably should change at least the needle and seat on the float and then check the float adjustment. if its apart, you can throw a rebuild kit in it, wouldnt hurt. other thing i would do is put in a new set of plugs. if that doesnt get it, run a compression test and see how each cylinder is. you may have some valves sticking if it hasnt run in a while.
