Mike, when I ordered all of my manuals from the same source when I asked about the Serviceman's Guide I was told the Service Manual contained everything that was in the Servicemans Guide plus numerous other things. No, you won't be needing both; the service manual if for the complete tractor. I also heard it explained it was something for the initial service on a new tractor before it's first delivery or something like the pre-delivery service requirements. As a point of reference, the Serviceman's Guide is only 24 pages while the Service Manual is well over a 100 pages. My Service Manual is not in the house so I can't answer the other two questions at this time. The clutch adjustment is for 1 1/8" of free travel on the pedal for a H. You just adjust the clutch pedal rod which runs along the clutch housing on the outside to the noted free travel. Don't know anything about the mags as all my Farmalls have coils. Hope this helps, Hal.
