Your battery may be too low on voltage to provide
enough voltage for your ignition. By towing the tractor you not only crank the engine, but you are
generating voltage. Check the specific gravity of the battery with a hydrometer and compare the readings to one another. Should be close to a reading of 1.250 or better with a fully charged battery. You may have a weak condenser or a carburetor flooding problem too since it wouldn't start when the engine was warm. Hal
