There are several methods, all involving removal of the tank: muratic acid bath; sloshing a mix of gravel and kerosene in the tank; dropping a length of chain in the tank with kero and sloshing. Slosh until smooth and clean; Or, have tank boiled out at a radiator shop. I highly recommend a gas tank sealer after treatment. mike
