I removed both of the rear hubs on my 350u, one slipped right off. The other I put a gear puller on and tightened just tight enough to apply pressure and the hit the inside of the hub with a dead blow hammer. As it kept moving, kept tightening the puller and kept slugging the inside of the hub. It wasn't rusty, just old, dried and gummy grease on the splines. When I was ready to put them back on, cleaned up both surfaces, regreased them and they went right on. Good luck with yours.
