Zenith Carburetor Parts

We've got a portable air compressor with a Zenith carburetor. We needed to put a kit in the carburetor, got that from Napa. Took it to a local mechanic to cook the carb. out and put in the new kit. He called and said the float was shot. Have checked a bunch of places for the float but auto parts stores handle the kit but the float is NA. Checked with Case IH as a bunch of IH gas tractors had Zenith carbs, but they can only find it by application not by the numbers on the carb. Even got a number for the float but nobody can do anything with that either. Any suggestions very much appreciated.
