If you go to www.engineersedge.com you can find the torque value of all grades of steel fasteners. 3/8 is 30 lbs 7/16 is 47 Do you have the correct brass washers and brass nuts? I think they are also a fine thread which will require a different torque value also, which is also on that web site. SDE
