i have an old h with stuck eng, and i have a 305 chvy eng. think its time to think junkyard wars. but really i do need more power than the h had i have a good one and the only thing i got it for was to pull a ten foot bush hog. i will but only just. the one i want to put the v8 on was a parts tractor missing much of the engine parts, too many to think of piceing back together. anyone have any photos of such a prodject i would like to see them.i plan to use a tranmission in front of the h trans to keep the rpms downgoing into the h trans.also to slow down the top speed of the h.im only cutting grass but a lot of it.
