I have always used new SAE 30 weigh motor oil. It seems to work well coating the internal parts until break-in and doesn't cost much either. Either way, it doesn't matter what you use as long as it is a lube. I have seen "brainless" people assemble engines and not coat a single part with any type of lube!!!!
