Thanks George. I was guessing at the year. So was my father. Either way, where on the tractor would we look to find out what the year/model/series is? My father wants to hunt down a manual for it, plus it would be nice to actually "know" what we're talking about. I've seen a few manuals on ebay but I don't know if they apply to our tractor. Troy

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
