If you are doing light cutting, and the hydraulics will lift it, you may get by with a 5 ft. However, I would seriously look at a 4 ft. 500 to 600 lbs is about the max the super A can lift on the 3 pt. The PTO will work if the 3 pt structure on the tractor and the bush hog don't get in the way because the PTO is offset. Also, you will need an over running clutch for the PTO, otherwise, you will get pushed where you don't want to go when you push in the clutch. Since the PTO is geared directly to the wheels, the inertia of the heavy rotary cutter blades will push the tractor unless you have the over running clutch to let the blades coast.
