Red Ryder: I dont disagree with you and the point you make is a good one. If you go back to Don Shepard's original post, I beleive he wanted to know if a particular hitch would bolt to his tractor. I also beleive he wanted an answer to the question you answered. I know there are three different chassis sizes prior to the 06 series tractors. The ones I am sure of are Super C, 300 and 560, I owned one of each. In an earlier post I suggested which tractors of that era were small medium or large chassis. I had hoped someone would either chalange or agree with me on that question. No one has. I farmed with three only of the dozen or more of these tractors. There are a number of people who regularly visit this site that were employed by IH as engineers or as dealers service personell that would know the answer as to which hitch will bolt to which tractor. From this discussion, I dont think Don Shepard has the answer yet to that question. Hugh ps Don let us know.
