I made one for the 140 I used to have. Dealer at that time said it was discontinued too, and that was 15 years ago. I used threaded steel rod at the rear and a piece of 3/4 inch pipe. Flattened the pipe at the front in a vice and drilled a hole for the 1/2 inch pin. Put a nut and a compression spring at the rear rockshaft to give some flexibility on the down pressure. If the rod is completely rigid, you are liable to bend the front rockshaft is you put down pressure and drive though a valley or something that increases the pressure, so you need some flexibility from a spring or in the rod itself.
