This could also be a fuel problem where some junk gets into the line and restricts the flow. The carb might have enough fuel to run for a while in the fuel bowl, but when speeded up it starves.

I doubt your valves are sticking, usually if they stick they do it all the time, not just when warm. If you do decide to spray something on them I wouldn't worry about what gets into the cylinder, the amount will be so small it won't matter.

Check your coil as suggested, they have hot problems sometimes too.
