I have four HI tractors that have the disc brakes. There was an artical a couple of years back in the Red Power Mag that explained how to overhaul this type of brake system. I did this and let me tell you the brakes on my 600, 400, 300F and 300U work like a charm. What I did was had a machine shop turn each enternal contact surface 5 thousands. That added up so about 20 thousands total. I then had the outer housing turned 30 thousands to allow for the amount of material removed from the enternal serface and allow for ware over the years. The brakes work like a charm.
