Ace, The 686 is a decendant of the super MTA that includes the 560 (used the wheels off the back of a M for duals). I'm hopping its something simple like a broken bolt or missing keyway that can be easily replaced. I also hope I can get at it like you or Old-Duch suggest (with out splitting the tractor) but think FarmallGod might be correct. Last time my dad had it replaced (in the 80's) with a new clutch the TA wasn't field servicable - rebuilt unit was installed. Keep the tips flowing Thanks
