You very well may have a bad battery and it needs to be replaced. On the other hand it has been my experience that a high percentage of problems said to be a bad battery were something else i.e., charging system,draw on battery,regulator,etc. A 6 volt system on these tractors is very reliable. When they are maintained and working correctly. Mis-diagnosis of problems have given 6 volt system a bad name.
