300U Power Steering disassembly

I got a lot of slop in the output shaft bushings on my 300U P/S unit, so I'm gonna replace them and get the shaft built up and re-sized if needed. I'm looking at the service manual and parts manual and it doesn't look like I'll have any problems removing the valve body and cylinder, but I just know I'll take one of them off and a dozen nondescript little parts are gonna come springing or rolling out and get lost under my bench. Anybody here have one of these apart before? Anything I gotta be on the lookout for? Thanks in advance.
