I did this not long ago on my 48 super A. It is pretty simple. There is 1 O-ring on the pump shaft that is bad and is allowing it to leak into the crankcase. Just drain your hyd fluid, take off you pump, take out the 2 bolts holding it together, and replace the O-ring. It is a gear pump very similar to a engine oil pump. Keep everything very, very clean. Use high quality O-ring rated for hyd systems. This is a good time to clean the filter screen since the fluid is drained. Good Luck & Merry Christmas.
