WOW, what a world of information, thanks folks!! When I bought this tractor, it had the gears allready turned around, and it was being used as a spray rig. I do know that it will FLY in 5th gear. Maybe it's just cause of the heigth. One last dumb question, who publishes a service manual? My I&T books only have a short paragraph or two on the MV's, and nothing on the M cotton pickers.
