I have a 1955 300U. I recently priced a power steering setup from Bates Corp. At $1250 for the parts, I dont think it will happen real soon. This was for a used unit, which will probably need some repair? I would rather look for another way - I talked to a guy at the Mid Michigan old gas tractors show a couple of years ago that had put a 450 unit in. He said he had to do some grinding to get it to fit. Good luck! Irv

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
