I have an H all wired up with the original 6 volt system and the starter turns slow on mine also, even with a new battery and a new switch. But I will repeat what I have read on this board many times, if your tractor is properly maintained, timed, and choked, she will start right up, slow starter or not. My H starts so nice that often I use the hand crank just for grins. Whenever I get to thinking about putting in new points, plugs and wires, I think about the trouble I read about here and compare that to how nice mine runs now, and I spend my money someplace else.
