I have actually had great luck with this engine, the person i bought the tractor from had it for 10 years without a problem. I ran it for 4 years, and wanted to get the power back up to snuff. I had new piston sleaves, pistons , rings, bearings, crank and cam polished, valve job, injectors cleaned and polished. The diesel pump was rebuilt, new clutch, generator, and starter rebuilt, valve job, power stearing rebuilt .... . The tractor runs like new, 0 hesitation, starts great on cold days, holds it spead on hills. It is a great tractor. I am thinking about selling it only to get one with a little more horsepower.
