I just bought some a few months ago. If you go to your local IH dealer he will probably have the shares for about $100 a piece. I don't know were you are, but here in central PA there are a lot of Amish. Through them I was able to get a set of brand new shares for $30 a piece. Aparently there is an Amish guy who makes them out in Ohio somewere. They are cast exactly like the originals. Unfortunately, I don't know how to get in contact with him. Also, I've seen old shares in new condition for sale at tractor shows for a good priece. You'll have to check around.
