I don't find it surprising that the tractors seem expensive. Depending on the condition and area, the price varys. But try to buy a new one to do the same work, THEN talk about expen$ive!! On the other hand, parts have surprised me for their inexpensiveness and availability. My local dealer has had everything I've needed, and been more than reasonable. For example, 2 distributors, 2 sets of wires, 3 battery cables and some hardware for $49. Radiator cap for $3 something. Caps are more expensive at Kmart here. Compared to my motorcycle parts, this is a steal!
