There should be a sqaure piece of tubing on the front of each axel that the bolts for the draw bar goes through. This tubing should stick up a little bit past the top of the axel above the bolt hole. I always stick the handle end of the cranke down in that hole in the center of that square tubing. Never lost one yet storing it there and sometimes I use the cranke as a foot rest while driving the tractor.
