300U steering drag link ends follow-up

A few days ago someone pointed out that the parts manual calls out two different manufacturers of drag link ends and was wondering how to tell the difference. I went to my parts guy last night, as I need those parts also, and found out that the Columbus parts are all that is available, and the other partnumber crosses to the Columbus part. They aren't cheap, though. For all four ends I was quoted a price of about $300. I am gonna check with NAPA to see if there is a less costly alternative.
