Texas Red Iron: I'll have to dis-agree with Haas. I bought a '48 C with super C grill and gas tank. After 50 years many things can be swapped by those who just need to keep something running. (A rusty gas tank and leaking radiator can lead to a total swap on top) A more positive way is to check brakes. If cast iron housing with disk brakes, it's a Super as older C has band brakes. Casting codes are a sure fire way too. Under left foot just in back of clutch pedal is a casting code. About as easy to see as looking at your left foot. Wheather it's a C or SC, both are good tractors and not too much different in major items except that a two point hitch was mostly found on only Supers. Eather way, buy one and enjoy it. R.
