Dave, Check the carb for the float sticking. When you changed points did you make sure the lug terminal end of the condenser wire is not grounding out against the distributor housing? Are the points gapped at .020 on high cam? Does it want to fire at all? Last question is where do you have spark at? Come back with more info and someone will surely try to help you get it running.//FB
