Like Red Dave said it could be a number of things most likely a sludged up block I would guess. However the thermosyphen system should be adequate to cool the tractor as is. I have owned my A since the mid sixtys and it has never run hot and it is used to do serious work like cutting a 5 acre knee high horse lot in 90 degree weather only a couple of months ago.I would remove radiator hoses and back flush block with water hose first. Just my 1 cent worth.
