Easy solution: get one of those electric magnetic stick on heaters and stick it on the hydraulic filter housing. Plug it in a couple hours before you want to use it. As an alternative, go buy a second filter and keep one in the house with you and change to the warm dried out one before starting up. You'll lose a little fluid each time, but it's a cheaper quicker fix than changing fluid. The magnet heater worked for me.
