Canadian question

I just found some bolts, they are 1 inch by 4 inches with NC thread. The interesting part is that instead of grade marks on the head they have the 1967 Canadian centential logo. Does anyone know the story behind these bolts? Please respond direct as I can think of no justification to post this on an IH board other than it is full of gearheads some of which are Canucks. BTW the Centenial logo was a stylized Maple leaf formed by a bunch of triangles. Thanks
