I see where Bleedinred is coming from as far as seals go but there aren't that many seals on the SC and all but one are easy to get at. You must remember this tractor is nearly 50 years old and the seals don't last forever anyway, if seals are leaky it is probably from old age. It is not nearly as complicated and o ring and seal dependent like a 4020 would be. You say the wiring is okay? If the thing runs good and all is quiet it is most likely okay. I would check out the hydraulic system and see that it works and sounds okay. There again a lot of these old tractors need the pump and touch control rebuilt anyway so that would be hard to determine if it is fire damage or just old age. It is possible the bottom portions of the tractor didn't get too hot even if it were in a building fire which could explain the gas cap and precleaner damage. Look at the radiator to see if it looks resoldered or replaced as they usually fall apart pretty quick in a hot fire.
