I have a tulsa winch also from the frt. of a dus and a half. was going to do the same till I started pricing hyd motor and hoses and blah and blah. Instead I built a retrival trailer with winch on the back and a ford 3/4 ton trany chain drive to winch and input shaft I installed a PTO shaft from an old pc of equip. with the trany you have any speed or power you want. and I went one step farther and put a 10 hp motor on it with a go-cart clutch and belt drive to input trany so I can go with pickup and pull. the PTO just slips off when you use the engine plus I welded a storage box on trailer and I now know where all my chains and etc are and are kept. It don't look like much but I pulled a loaded semi out with it with tractor at an idle, sure surprized me. Good Luck
