I used two different tricks getting mine loose. They were sqaure head bolts. Before the tricks, LOTS of soaking. Six times a day. Let em sozzle in the magic juices while I found other things to work on. Did that over the course of a few days, before putting any more effort into it. To bind the square head, I let it turn until it was fairly parallel to the sides of the recess in the weight, and found a punch just about the same width as the gap at the side of the bolt head and laid the hex end of it along the flat side of the bolt head. Turned the nut until the punch bound up and kept on turning. In this case, anything of the right thickness that will bind up, barstock or otherwise, would accomplish the same thing. Another tough one, I was able to sneak a hex socket in over the square head. It didn't go down as far over the head as I'd have liked, but it went far enough to hold. Maybe one of these attacks will help.
