H/M drawbar exchange

My 3/4" drawbar on H bent with tounge wgt.Not the U-shaped pc. but the straight bar. Anyway, I picked a straight bar up at auction from an M thats thicker and wider.I figure I need to grind front down to fit plus longer bolts at where it swings. Any body done this? Will it work? Also got me a 2point two bottom plow for Super C for $175. Thanks
