With all the d282's I have seen only one would start with out using the glow plugs in the summer. They are not supose to start with out the glow plugs any time. All the plugs must be good and you can not check the plugs and be sure they are good with taking them out and looking at them and check them whem you have them out and see that they get red on the end.The engine must be in good shape as well then they will start.
