Dave: I'll take a chance on being corrected by a more experianced mechanic. The various measurements on the sleeve should indicate how much useful life one could expect. These measurements must be made in a prescribed way. Read a good mechanical manual for that. The idea is to tell how much away from new it has been worn. The crank is the same idea. Out of round is often bad. Bearings are cheap so plan on new ones. Half of the sucess in reusing old parts is in measuring the amount of wear. Just eyeing it is often a guessing game. R.
