I pulled all the studs out of the block since I had it resleeved and bores. I found that by tipping over on its deck that the rust just fell on the floor. Do this a couple of times and the water jacket will be clean of the big stuff. A quick rinse with water cleaned the last debris. Just make sure that the clock sits on wood blocking.
