I have figured out that my M is a 1941 model by the letter K on on the major castings. However the serial number remains elusive. Here is some info I have found. the head has casting number 6722DE on it. I wonder if the bkm 36318 is the serial number? If so shouldn't it have been preceded by the numbe 27? It doesn't look to be a factory stamped number. How many places on the block have the number stamped on it. I know I will be able to measure the piston pins and such to figure out wether the thing has been altered. Does anyone out there in tractor cyber space have any ideas? I know it has two way hydraulics on it so that may have been modified. Thanks fellow Red Lovers Brad
