I will assume that you have a International 300 Utility which has the reservor under the seat. In answer to your question, No. You don't want to try taping into the presure line between your pump and reservor. Those hydratouch valves are easy to find at tractor salvage yards. The hydratouch valves are the same on 300/350, 400/450 Farmall or International and 600/650 International. The levers are also easy to find. Usually its the handle that is worn not the control valve lever shaft.
