there are three places on the f-20,f-30 to find the serial #. the third place is on the engine block at the back(carb side)on a raised pad.my tractor was built before nov.1st 1936 but the engine was built after.(a gray tractor w/red engine & red wheels?).most toolbox serial#plates on tool boxes (f-series)are nearly off because of vibration, the plates are solid nickle sheet, soft and easy for the hard brass rivets to cut thru over the years of vibration. the plate probably wasn't stolen.
