I have not had them apart, but have rebuilt and put seals in other hydraulic motors, etc. One of the most important things is to keep it clean and oiled whin reassembling. Dirt and hydraulics do not mix. I dnot know what is inside for valves and springs, but I would be careful when pulling it apart to ewatch how things fit together. Good luck.
