Need Touch Control Expert

I've taken my Touch Control all apart except I can't figure out how to get the 4 check valve actuators out of the block. There are 2 for each piston. There is a small access plug for each inside the reservoir that goes down to the backside of them. A small screwdriver doesn't seem to do anything to push them out. I'm afraid of damaging something. Any ideas? Should I try high pressure air into the access holes and cover my face?
