i made those sugestions because i have an old "36"f-20 that gives me trouble at times. it stays outside all the time,w.tn.weather is not kind to machinery. i haven't had trouble with the mag yet, but have had trouble with the throttle plate sticking shut. i have to open the back of the carb to turn the throttle shaft open to get it started sometimes.---walt

Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
