Super A and IH 1000 Loader

I think I have been lucky! I bought an IH loader for $200. Complete! Also, I am certain it was my father's loader, which was sold 22 years ago. Now, the loader has been sitting out for about 2 years. What steps can I take when hooking up that I don't damage my Touch Control pump on my Super A? Also, would it be possible to have the hydralic adapter fitting modified to a break away fitting so that when I remove loader I can just unplug the hydralic hose from the touch control pump without taking off the adapter?
