I would suggest drilling the hole out and rethreading for a normal tapered pipe plug. I'll have to check the tables, but either a 1/8 or 1/4 inch NPT. That way you'll have a tapered thread that is designed to handle high pressure. I had a buddy do that with his valve in order to insert a gauge to check his hydraulic pressure. After checking pressure he removed gauge and threaded in a pipe plug. Just seal the pipe thread with teflon, or thread sealant. I've seen those valves on eBay from time to time.
