I second that if I paint them at all. I prefer to have the original paint on even if it isn't very good. Mine has a grey engine and red frame. It seems to me the numbers matched too. So that would have to be original engine. It is a 1935 F-12 on rubber from the factory. It also has a Warford transmision between the engine and transmision. Just doubles the ranges of the original trans. Mr,B
