My grandpa's M has a "Joyrider" seat. It is a square seat with little side rails like newer JD, and has an adjustment crank on top in the front. the crank works backwards, turn to the lef tfor more stiffness. It has a model "Buffalo" manufacturer of "Fleischer Manufacturing" and Great Neck" with no state visible.

I don't really like it because my normal working position is "side saddle" to watch the implement. In rough ground the side rails bruise my legs.

But it was grandpa's.
